Apparently picograms are still orders of magnitude bigger and thus not useful for this type of measurement. Science! Looking further into it, yoctagrams or zetograms would be small enough to express the measurement. I suspect daltons are us

“Daltons are used to measure something very low in mass” Why not just use nanograms or picograms?

I deleted my org’s off my computer since I have root privs. They asked to put it back and I’ve been ignoring them. I signed an NDA, if that’s not good enough... idk what to tell you.

Interesting, but ultimately the best linting tool is one that runs prior to commit. Especially if it can auto-fix.

The notion that the industry isn’t exposing any data is patently false. FHIR and HL7 have been around for years now and I’ve connected many data sources into both Apple and other services that use those APIs.

I’m curious if this is applicable to fiber optics? If so it could vastly decrease the width of our undersea cables and allow for more redundancy in a non-complete cable cut scenario.

The developer experience of working with Vue is significantly worse than React in my personal experience... Too much file separation, “magic” in the templates, etc.

I hope it doesn’t screw up our food supply too much. We get a surprising amount of crops from China and the rest of the world.

I’m curious why they did this? Unless I read the article wrong the space lettuce had fewer microbes on the leaves. Unless it’s just a replacement for traditional rinsing since you can’t do that very well in microgravity?

“ Epidemics introduce a paradox to the world. Viruses like COVID-19 spread rapidly but developing vaccines and treatments to stop them moves slowly.” That’s not what a paradox is... sigh.

I think this is going to be the big year. Regulatory approval from a bunch of markets and the beginning of fleet deployment, with general availability around most of the US by 2022

If every vehicle on the road is autonomous, signals are not required. The only exception would be walking crosses but actually the cars should see you and wait for you.

I like the pragmatism. One thing that comes to mind though is stuff gets repurposed for unintended use cases often... as long as these caveats are well documented it’s ok but imagine if they were hidden and the missiles were used in space o
