I tried Soylent 1.0 and had severe gastrointestinal issues with it. In doing research I came across 100%FOOD--a Soylent alternative. The texture is a lot less appealing than Soylent at first, but I got used to it. My body agrees with it

The solution to it running warmer with Ubuntu is to run a utility to manage the fan speeds and keep it cooler. It works just fine for me that way. I've had a few Thinkpads running Ubuntu and now a MBP running Ubuntu.. and I prefer the MBP.
