You tax them enough so they can't use money to buy power and have to rely on organizing like us poors to enact change.

What metrics, that aren't controlled by industry, show AI getting better? Generally curious because those "ranking sites" to me seem to be infested with venture capital, so hardly fair or unbiased. The only reports I hear fro

Interesting, never really thought of it outside of this comment chain but I'm guessing approaches like this hurt the typical automated testing devs would do but seeing how this is MSFT (who already stopped having dedicated testing role

I felt this the other day. I wouldn't even consider my example exotic, p2p systems using electron? It just couldn't figure out how to work with YJS correctly. These things aren't hard if you're familiar with the document

People need to realize that these companies only exist because of work that the public openly shared with society at no cost (transistors and the internet). All they want to do is extract as much wealth as possible before dying. There shoul

Keep fighting the good fight. Asking for evidence should be the bar in conversations and too many people are willing to bend the truth to push their narratives (that the rich elites deserve everything, you were born a serf). David Graeber w

There should already be a single priority for a company... Why is the bar so low for the billionaire magnate fuck ups? Might as well implement workplace democracy and be done with it, it can't be any worse for the company and at least

Most of the credit being throwing around isn't coming from traditional banking companies, mostly private credit being utilized. Private credit isn't really unregulated. If you're interested in learning more I believe Matt Sto

This was the case before AI tho, people were copying coding patterns from companies randomly even without understanding. I mean there was an interview with some DoorDash architect that literally stated that whatever their architecture was j

Those workers can be counted on two hands at most for 99.99% of public companies. What about the vast majority of workers that are doing the grudge work that keeps the company afloat? Do they not deserve a say in the direction of the compan

Legislation can help in a variety of ways, like taxing digital goods to provide work grants for open source developers. The federal government could create a public payment processor. There are many things that can be done to help the publi

This is mostly due to not trust busting enough in society. If there were actual competitive markets, not monopolies/oligarchies/monopsonies/cartels, the business world would be completely different. Either that, or legislate

None of these have usage numbers that rival react, at least not in the US. I wish it were so because many react libraries can easily support other view libraries with minor modifications to decouple it from react.

Really feels like react has held back frontend development. The idea that everything on the web should be written in react is baffling but I'm sure people thought similar thoughts when jquery or angular were popular.
