How is this NOT a violation of antitrust laws? How does this not hurt market competition or even more basic, how is this not collusion or a price cartel?

Ah that's a shame, I've never had much issues luckily and heard good things about Linode. I believe they are cheaper than DO now too.

These fears are why I never use AWS, GCP, Azure, etc and prefer something simple like DigitalOcean where I just add money to my funds via PayPal. If I exceed the limit, they shut down my account. Highly preferable than accidentally getting

It has been known for decades that agriculture runoff increases the intensity and duration of red tide. Why do you care so much for defending practices that literally poison the earth, people, animals, and ruin the economy for many working

What is your point to your comment? Florida is absolutely not the same Florida as it was in 90s or early 2000s. The state has drastically changed for the worse. I lived there for 30 years, I'm intimately involved with the local politic

Nice whataboutism but as someone who lived in Florida for 30 years, still has familiar, and visits every year I think I'm familiar with the area I grew up in, started businesses in, and ultimately left.

Are you familiar with this state? Farmers literally dump agriculture runoff into the water ways with zero repercussions. What do you think red tide comes from? Do you think red tide season to be a natural phenomenon and not entirely man mad

> The club had “no idea” the software, set up with no manual intervention, was that unreliable, Rosin said. It would be comical if it weren't so sad that software were making lives worse, not better.

Where in the US is this happening? We're talking about developers developing land for landowners while other people are able to stop them for "reasons."

Can you explain more in-depth what you mean? I'm also unaware of how you could have declarative rulesets in a non turing-complete language. Sounds like it would be impossible but maybe my thinking is just enclosed and not free.

In no sane world can you compare the percentage of kids engaging in social media with the likely 1% of children that owned porno mags in the 70s. Your comment is completely disingenuous.

This is good as it’ll encourage people to hopefully leave and start other competitive ventures. Hubris destroys all human endeavors, why should businesses be immune to it?

Why not? We saw from internal Google emails that sales had the ability to stop engineering in order to push more ad sales at the detriment of the product. Why would Boeing, or anyone else, be different?
