Also, you used to have your iphone app open sourced but it is not available on github anymore, why have you decided against opensourcing it?

Hi, I am impressed by the number of apps you already have. Don't you think that development will be slowed down by the fact you will have to update all these apps for each change? How do you plan to handle this challenge? (I run a time mana

Wow, I love the attention they paid to details. If you click on the blank project boxes behind the Red Marker "Welcome" text, the Add Project bounces to attract your attention.

True. (I am French, it is hard to see these things as being motivating enough to relocate in a country-side village...). Visa is probably a favourable thing in comparison to Thailand / Philippines ...

Why would you set up this hacker haven there if you can do the same thing in a cheap but paradisiac country like Thailand or the Philippines for the same cost?

Side question: Do you find to-done really useful? Isn't to-do + done more interesting than just to-done?

What does StackMob do? Looking at the website it looks like a web app creator?

I am definitely learning a lot in terms of web design, but also what is possible in terms of creating a web app that is fast.

Although the premium content is getting more present on the website, I still believe Andrew delivers a lot of value for his non clients. But at $25/month, the amount of value is unbelievable, and if you'd look a few years back, $25 wouldn't

Why is GumRoad getting more buzz than http://www.kout.me/ ? They seem to be very similar products. Is Sahil very well networked?

Shame the person doing the AMA doesn't express himself better, he loses a bit of credibility. I can't tell if his answers are given out of anger against Zynga or if they are a reflection of reality.

I'd love someone to look at the design of the weekly planner at http://weekplan.net As I mentioned in a recent thread ( http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=3547019 ) I tried to publish a new design that my users didn't like and I had to r

Do you mean Digg has pushed a big design change and Reddit just does small changes (if any)?

I think this is a great answer. Option 1: Compare old and new design with new users. Posting the designs in Mturk could get some unbiaised answers. Option 2: Gradual design. Don't shock your users. Change things gradually. Thanks Chris!

Surely some changes can be bad. Facebook Beacon was removed after some time for example. I'd like to know how to figure out what is the fastest to know if a change is for the better or the worse. In the case of design change, I wouldn't exp

I think A/B testing would take too long to show the effect of the design change. Design helps your users like your app a little bit more and I think it would show in retention, but not in sign up conversion. What metric would you measure?
