No you arent, youre clearly asking in a rhetorical way. Re-read your post. Any criticism brought up you'd dismiss. Heres one: lack of native 64 bit integers.

No one is disputing that R has usage in niche arenas.

If youre unironically asserting that R already does everything well enough Im not going to take you seriously.

No. R fundamentally has not really improved in the past ~10 years. Do you know much about how R works? Also try: gsub('serious', 'hyped', x)

Youre wrong. Python is outpacing R in usage. Every metric you can find proves it. R also has fundamental issues and lacks serious development.

The issue is R is too small compared to Python and the gap is getting bigger. Theyre trying to grow the company, and realistically the only way is to support python.

If an algorithm correctly determines content that will keep a person interested, and that content is, lets say problematic, isn't that an issue with the person not the algorithm?

I'm not angry, I'm simply pointing out that you place undue value on a name the vast majority of people don't care about. What you're doing, explicitly, is placing more value on name than idea. A fallacy. I'm obviou

I didnt read what you said because you didn't say anything. You just linked to his blog while carefully making sure to point out it was CD who wrote it. That's literally dictionary definition of idolatry.

If his ideas resonate and are so profound, tell us what they are and why. Don't point to his blog and worship him like some minor deity.

Still have no idea how this dude is relevant other than he wrote some scifi books one time. What are his technical accomplishments. Oh, nothing? Anyone can talk, especially nowdays because of AI, ironically.

That and the F150 isn't even a big truck, it's literally classified as "light duty". If you're trying to signal for _excess_, you aren't buying a F150.

Instead of playing that gotcha game, can you hypothesize what differences in human anatomy would cause this to happen in mice but not humans? There's a reason researchers use mice, and that's because physiologically, they are tiny
