Agreed on looks - I actually declined buying one because of that. That said, I really wish they would have started there. I want an electric truck. I don't want one anywhere near as large as an F150. I understand F150s sell better s

Same here. VB was widely dogged, perhaps rightly so. But I've never been near as fast or productive when making a functional GUI. It's sad that fell out of favor.

A better system would have some agreed upon holding period. Two weeks perhaps? Enough time at least that the buyer has received the goods. As much as I hate Paypal, that's essentially what they do. They hold the funds until they&#x

That's a completely fair assessment. I don't fault 'you guys' at all because I don't expect your brain works like mine. Read: I don't think you're wrong and I'm right...never. What I fear myself is

I agree with this. Go works like my brain, and I don't mind that. Sure you can do X in some fancy way in other languages, but that just leads to feature creep. I've never read Go code I didn't understand at first glance. I

If you're serious about mechanical watches or have a small addiction like me, I'd highly recommend buying an old school timegrapher and regulating(link below). I have a rather ridiculous collection of Orients, and some were off by

Well, glad he's coming around. Years back he seemed to stand by the notion that Python wasn't slow, showing a toy example. I remember thinking it was just condescending, whether intentional or not.

Out of curiosity, how much would such a thing cost? I'd love a 'dumb' display, but it would be hard for me to justify dropping thousands to have one, when I'm perfectly satisfied just leaving the internet disconnected fr

That's kinda a shame. I have an Aukey keyboard, and mpow headphones. Both vastly exceeded my expectations. I wonder why they are begging for reviews in the first place, that's behavior I would expect from shady junk peddlers.

Is it still considered inflation if it's rather temporary? I agree whole heartedly with your comment, was just curious about the terminology since inflation usually seems to imply a...longer term trend.

I've lived in three cities, none of them 'big', with no input lag problems. I have no idea where they put the machines, but I'm rather confident it's at more places than the GCP datacenters based on my ping times.

This is where Microsoft has won. Gamepass is that. I don't even have to buy games anymore, there's so much available 'free' to play.

I agree, but it's been the case for a long time, and directly correlated to the propagation of the cell phone. I remember I went to a summer camp at college some 20+ years ago now. It was a blast, and I made a ton of friends because i

I'll say it: boxing these days is boring. I used to watch it as a kid also. Admittedly I don't follow it as I used to, but I don't know of anyone with explosiveness like say, Tyson. Or young Holyfield. Somewhere along the

Agreed. It wouldn't surprise me at all if there were actuaries out there telling companies that it's cheaper to pay ransoms if and when they occur than to hire dedicated security. Which probably is true, at face value.
