Depending on your priorities, midsize is usually a great place to get autonomy wins of small startups mixed with the scale to actually be solving real problems. I’d be curious if you don’t like aspects of your workspace or are otherwise con

I really can not figure out why this comment was downvoted of all things. Downvote brigading is a problem on this site, this is one reason amongst others, how is this not a valid reply to parent.

AIUI: the argument is that high density has less per capita costs. Tax rate should basically be a function of costs and citizen income. You can have lower per capita costs and need a higher tax rate if your revenue is not high enough relat

Right, but you definitely remove that line from operation, which is exactly what they did. Go to an archive site or glean more details from the ombudsman post. NPR's website doesn't need to be a VCS of every change to history, m

Freedom undoubtedly is a spectrum and something that is worked towards, not just attained with the flip of a light switch. It’s also forever a process, so let us wish for NKs people that this is one early step on the journey

I find this new wave of going after people’s pensions to be super unseemly. All of this information has been public for decades, if you view the voter as “the board”, there’s culpability in not managing politicians and allowing this situati

T-mobile US came in later in the thread to clarify that they’re not storing passwords in plaintext. This is kinda fun, I guess, but arbitrating this with one arm of a multinational company over Twitter kinda yielded predictable results.

TCL might be the best option since they’re running a Roku OS. I just picked up an LG B7A (great time of year to buy 2017 TVs on markdown) and it’s great but the advertising crap was a minefield.

Or better yet, treat trading & holding market assets as a privilege and not a right. Maybe it’s not worth pursuing criminal charges for any multitude of reasons, but having a quick release valve to make sure bad actors only get 1 shot.
