I've experienced some hilarious misses when receiving a non-english voicemail and having Google try to make sense of it. It's not so good with fast talkers either.

A (pre-determined and explicitly stated) fraction. Afterwards, however, shareholders are allowed to sell off their shares, provided they meet any lock-in/holding period requirements first. So, a founder might have to wait 6 months before he

I'm totally ignorant of the Android landscape but does it have a music player than can rival the iPod app music + iTunes syncing of an iPod Touch?

I signed up and am looking forward to trying it out for a new project I'm working on. Just a weird site note: for some reason, my browser is locking up for a few seconds every time I click on a link in my dashboard. My CPU usage is spiking.

starkfist, you'd need to get a prepaid microsim, which I'd imagine is not too common. Or, you could cut up a regular sim.

Except if your internet goes down. Which happens to me often enough that I only really pay for my service 8 months out of the year, the rest being comp'd. Gotta love Cablevision. Also, what happens if/when, for whatever reason, your node g

We tried using a stick-on whiteboard and had dismal results. The writing surface was not smooth, since the thin material was going over our (bumpy) painted wall. Also, the adhesive would come off after a while, making us tape the whole thin

I don't know if you're serious or not, but the largest companies are also some of the slowest moving. We had Windows 2000 machines at Merrill Lynch, running Office 2000.

Actually, you'd be surprised. This is purely anecdotal, of course, but around New York City, I see more girls with a Blackberry than iPhone. BBM is really hot. I would say it's the new AIM.

Actually, Apple makes a mint on every iPhone and iTouch (see http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2009/06/iphone_3gs_cost... ) to the tune of about 50% of the retail price, or 100% of the manufacturing cost, whatever way you want to look a

But the point is that an atheist does not know and is not completely sure. Religion, on the other hand, tends to sell itself as having all the answers (except when it doesn't, then it's simply a matter of God's will). Atheists simply can't

Most, if not all, of our elementary and middle schools do have "friendly" names, and as far as I'm aware all the high schools have and go by actual names. Examples: I went to PS 230 and 217, the names of which I never knew nor can remember
