Seems great, but after a few questions, it asked me to give a phone number, and only 5-6 countries are supported.

Telegram group chats cannot be encrypted AFAIK. This would probably be a show stopper for a lot of companies.

https://imgur.com/a/Lzf4qzX This is a bike I bought 2005 for about 180 euros. And I still use it today as a city bike. The picture is from around 2013 after I did some upgrades - second hand hydraulic brakes, new cas

A personal rant. 15 years ago middle of the road mountain bike could be bought for around 200 euros. Now similar class mtb is more like 600+ euros. Bicycle tires cost about the same as my car tires. This is turning into a rich-man hobby.

Another important issue for the streamers/youtubers is the soundtrack of the games. Some tracks can cause DMCA takedown requests. Sometimes even automatic. Game devs have taken notice though. Some more recent and popular games have str

Actually the thesis of the article is that the focus on the "ultra-enthusiast" is killing the mainstream and budget end of the market.

True. Also a lot of other EU countries are being sued for not transposing other sets of laws. I think almost every EU country is being sued for something like this.

I agree with everything you said. Except the DLCs - while they add content, they feel like somebody is copying from a Game Design book. Here is a cool new thing, but we will make it miserable and hard to use in these ways. Have fun. Also in

Do polar explorers use some other navigational aides then? I wonder how inaccurate is the GPS really close to the poles.

While I like OSM for some use cases, and have contributed, it can not work as a replacement for google maps for every day use. My biggest problem is the search - absolutely unusable.

Almost all EV owners are charging them during the night, when the electricity demand is lower. And ok, maybe some upgrades will be needed in some places. But the situation is not so dark as the person above described it.

There are so many false statements in your post, I don't even know where to start. The grid absolutely can handle EVs. The range of modern EVs is totally fine for almost all cases. The price is an issue, but even in my poor Eastern Eur

Propane converted cars are still pretty popular in Eastern Europe. LPG at gas stations is 2x cheaper than gasoline in my country. The popularity comes from the lower salaries here so I don't see EVs becoming widespread in these parts i

Well, for a start it is not a single product. VW is a huge group consisting of a lot of brands, and hundreds of products(vehicles). I guess he wanted to bring the software development of all of these under a single company.

I have 10e, and is a good size for me. Why would you put a LineageOS on it, what are the benefits? Samsung has updated the phone to the latest Android version. Also are the banking apps working after you replace the OS?

One thing that is possible in the event of a war is relocation of the talent in neighboring countries. A small case in point - in Bulgaria there is a small but growing number of Turkish people in the IT. The ones I have talked with don'
