Uhm, towards a highly efficient system? Why do I need to pay the same premium as someone who eats fast food 3 times a day and downs 4 gallons of Coke and smokes in between?

No competent technical person should ever EVER keep bitcoins on an exchange wallet, Coinbase included. Bad actors are inevitable.

Twilio is in a very tough spot, because any relatively large account quickly realizes that they are big enough to roll out their own solution, and in 2017 is very easy to do, from stellar open source options to many vendors willing to sign

Yes, as I mentioned call center, and they also have Chime for conferencing. I expect trunking and business voip to be released very soon.

When is SIP trunking and Hosted Business PBX getting added to AWS?

No need for volume. SMS is dirt cheap on its own. For my clients we implement custom SMS solutions and our wholesale rates are free inbound and 0.0018 outbound. And we can activate any off-net number, don't need to own it even.

One more step closer to the end game... Business Hosted VOIP. They're already doing SMS, call center and a bunch of other stuff in this space. Hosted PBX and SIP trunking is coming. They are on a VOIP/WebRTC hiring spree since las

Right, the same people telling you it's going to $100K are the ones saying this is a digital currency that should be spent. Well, I sure ain't about to spend $100K to buy 2 MacBook Pros.

I'm still on Mavericks 10.9.5. Works great, I see no reason to update. It's a workhorse at its current state, no need to mess with what works so well.

I love my Late 2011 17" matte MacBook Pro. I dread the day that I will have to settle for a new MBP. I will probably end up getting a refurbished 17" off of eBay or something instead.

TCP and ILBC codec is the secret sauce for residential VoIP. I believe even RingCentral has been transitioning to mostly TCP.

TCP is the way to go. Another benefit is the significant reduction in customer support especially when it comes to residential customers.

I'm surprised they made no mention of http://www.freerangekids.com/ or (owner/blogger) Lenore Skenazy, both of which typically come up in such discussions.

No need to wait until tomorrow. ALL of Twilio's existing competitors (and there are many, and many more coming especially from the big telcos) will save you much more than 10% for essentially the same range of services.

There are a number of MVNOs coming to market with data-only SIM cards and their own branded dialer apps. Some have free international data roaming.
