Does it? If US build that wall and stop trading with Mexico, it’ll suddenly become responsible to supply the needs of the Mexican people? Israel supports Gaza because it’s an overwhelming consensus that leaving 1.8mm people, most of them in

- Olives rarely make it to hundreds of years. Surely they don’t in Gaza which has crappy soil for olives. Are you confused with the West Bank? - All water in Gaza are provided by Israel. Are you confused with Hebron or some other place? -

I think you are confused. The “apartheid state” is in the West Bank. It’s “occupying terrorist state” in Gaza. There’s no Israeli presence there other than Israeli water, electricity, petrol, money and occasional bombs.

It's not "an opposite problem", it's the same problem. Heavy rains in a shorter timeframe will not refill aquifers.

The reasoning behind rainwater collection ban is usually health and safety, not environmental impact. Most nations treat their water.

Everything is possible, and every measure has its counter. “Just replace the device with a chip that” is not in the same ballpark as “just use an emulator”.

For native apps blacklist default emulator MSIN and similar attributes (and let the cat and mouse game begin). For mobile web various fingerprinting techniques are available. As a fun (and quite irrelevant) example, you can immediately tell

I’m hereby inventing a new rule called Chesterton’s Wild Boar fence , the essence of which is people who don’t have gardens, or don’t hang out at night, would always complain about wild boar fences, as they lack any awareness of the beast

I’d strongly suggest watching John Oliver’s Aussi gun control sequel. It’s hilarious and educating (surely he’s a biased source, but at min you’ll get a good laugh)

The report is about land use, not CC mitigation in general. Also, the beef problem is conceivably solvable. It’s the lowest-hanging fruit around.

And that’s ok. The no beef movement should materialize in terms of laws, taxes and enforcement - voluntary efforts (or refusals) are irrelevant.
