That's sad if that's your bad. They were fined $3m only a few years ago for failing to comply with Australian consumer law and illegally witholding refunds. They didn't even bother getting legal advice. I'm not anti-valv

I can't speak for your country, but in Australia it's illegal to sell MA15+ rated material to an under 15, and R18+ material to an under 18. CS is MA15+.

I was wondering that too. I've taken it to mean "if this situation had happened in the Americas..." as the most generous interpretation I can make.

I agree. I don't like change and I'm usually the first to criticise, but it's fine. Some of the animations feel nice, but I'm yet to see anything that wows or upsets me.

I don't know what country you're in, but most normal shops I see work exactly that way. Some have sales once or twice a year, but most don't.

Sorry, I'm pretty sure you didn't read the article. OP didn't build a poker bot, you seem to have just seen the title and assumed.

I had to fix a kiosk style linux desktop that had suddenly changed its touch input behaviour from touch to cursor today. ChatGPT gave me the steps immediately for troubleshooting, wrote me a udev rule and explained the potential reasons it

I mean it happened earlier this year in Tasmania, and it was absolutely for grandstanding purposes, given they'd had an election less than a year before.

I felt I was replying to rudeness with rudeness of a similar tone. GP called an open source project "sucky" for not having a feature they wanted. Calling that "expressing hope" feels a stretch to me.

That's an interesting idea. Maybe you purchase a property and set up a big package dump thing for delivery drivers, have a webcam in the deliveries room and another in the main room, and you run 30 days of random stuff being delivered?

I just read the article and it's clearly implying foreign powers attempting to sabotage a UN meeting. The two "experts" clearly have no idea what they're talking about, and the agent quoted is implying heavily that this

The social media problem is very simple to solve. Ban advertising on social media (from platform or users) and ban usage of user data external to the platform. When you remove the incentive to engage users, the companies will engage in less

That's interesting. What is a reasonable alternative interpretation of "the right of people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" than individual gun ownership though?

I think you've moved the goalposts here a little. You are making (good) arguments on why the second amendment maybe shouldn't apply any longer and that guns of now are different. You're arguing for gun reform. However I was s

The Australian Government are likely serious about enforcing this. The current eSafety Commissioner is aggressive in policy, and we have an under 16s social media ban coming into effect soon[0]. 0. https://archive.md/An0CD
