Immediately what I thought of when I saw /microsoft. Not all of the APIs were brain-dead. They just ignored all previous developments and in the proposal they didn't even remove the C++-related language.

All of the fragments read like bad slop. I successfully chose the least democratically awful slop if that's an indication of anything.

Erm, excuse me? The professional engineering language is called TypeScript. JavaScript is what you use to add popups to your GeoCities WebSite.

No it's the Word app which is included in your organization's Copilot 365 .NET SharePoint license assuming you know how to trigger the download. The chatbot the license is named after doesn't have a clue either so good luck.

They are just Japanese cherry blossom in Poland anyways. Many trees of the same family are also stunning in bloom but the Japanese cherry blossom is celebrated not only for its beauty, but also for the fleeting nature of it. I'm not su

I'm not sure what you mean by "this strange thing" as the article promotes AES128 for symmetric encryption and explains why it is dumb to move to "post-quantum" for that use case. I think there are too many unknow

I haven't tried E2B but E4B isn't particularly better than the old Gemma3 4B model(which was already very good at multilingual and decent at other tasks) but the voice recognition is a nice addition.

It could be a fun exercise to add invisicaps to something like chibicc/slimcc. It leaves room for experimentation with reference counting and variations on the invisible capability system which could provide memory savings at the expen

I would assume it depends on what you are distilling. If you are making brandy from clarified wine, it probably separates better than rotten grape mash. It is still a continuum with some methanol molecules likely remaining even in the tails

They push it to save a couple nickels per core on the ARM licenses, not out of nationalistic fervor. And it is the Chinese doing it because virtually 100% of all chips are made in China and Taiwan.

I explained why C/C++ rubbed op the wrong way. It has nothing to do with a build process. It is probably true that more average C programs can be built with plain Makefiles or even without a Makefile than C++, though. You can of course

C/C++ is HR-newspeak out of the 1990s(at the time it was not clear that anyone would still want to use C and MSVC did move their compiler to C++). It signals that the speaker doesn't understand that the two are different languages

"We do not do this as a political statement —we simply want our gold ingots to exist next week." Still, a win does signal a dumb process behind the trade as the smart move would be to hedge with future options and/or futures.

So–called uncensored versions simply do not refuse addressing a topic. They do not guarantee an alignment with reality. A truly uncensored model is impossible as human societies exist under various censorship regimes, anyways.

So, are you using it for the 10%? I do use LLMs to learn about new subjects but we already only bill 10% for "coding" and that's inflating it to cover other parts. I can't imagine that slopping it up would be a great dec
