uggh. 3.5 hrs? I know it's a small form factor (no space for big honking battery), but 3.5 hrs isn't a whole lot. How easy is it to turn it off? And is 3.5 hrs at "full-bore, pictures of everything, GPS, etc" usage level? Of course, we'll g

I just don't understand why these manufacturers are always claiming inaccurate storage amounts. It's easy to fix: Storage = physical_storage_capacity - storage_used_by_stock_OS Doesn't the Surface Pro have some ludicrous claim of storag

I'd say it's more of a settling than exodus. Once a grandma is hooked on facebook, I doubt she's going to leave facebook for the hipster effect like others are doing.

I would think these CEOs are gods of some sort judging by the kind of money they get compared to the lowly every-day employee of the company. Did Yahoo's earnings even justify that sort of salary? "Yahoo's shares have risen 24 percent since

Ads. That's all that I've come up with. I would love for something different to come along ( http://reddino.org/when-can-we-drop-the-advertising-model/ ) but I don't see anything on the horizon. You could always just place one ad on each pa

Yep, static is the way to go if that's all you need. I didn't even hit #1 on HN but got 5,000+ page views in a few hours. All on a 128MB RAM VPS: http://linuxterm.com/static-sites-for-fun-and-savings.html

Real TL;DR: I compared a computer without an SSD, but with an Intel Core i7 clocked at 2 GHZ (quad-core, 8 threads) with a unix-like OS often cited as comparable to Linux to a 7 year old Core2Duo (2 threads) machine with 7 year old RAM and
