iOS 7 is requiring lots of work from app developers, to both fix what ios 7 broke in their app and to make their UIs fit in with the new design language apple is pushing. (To be fair, there are new APIs some apps are benefiting from). Devel

"Cells phones are tracking devices" used to be how cliche, wild-eyed conspiracy theorists were identified. Glad to see the mainstream (bloomberg and others in general, not Schneier) catching up.

Actually I take it back! Ms. isn't short for "Miss". Miss (no period) used to be the default title for a woman, but now it's Ms. (pronounced as you say), and like Mrs. & Miss, derives from Mistress. Good reading: ht

You're right, with one clarification: Miss. isn't an abbreviation, it's the full word. Ms. is short for Miss but is used for professional communication nonetheless. [Source: I transcribed documents intended for lawyers]

We've had anonymous remailers for about a decade. Maybe people will start caring. Bitmessage is up and coming, but needs a lot more development. You could use OTR with servers for offline support and contact management (jabber, etc), b
