If you don’t care about being in the city, and do care about being close to nature, then that’s an obvious choice. That being said, I don’t want to raise my kids out there. I want my kids surrounded by many cultures, and to have access to t

Yeah, but when people want that they don’t need to leave NY. Westchester is a great place to raise kids, and the Metro North is fairly relaxing commute.

This is just a rant. The author apologizes for speaking in unqualified absolutes, but does so constantly. Even if the author is right, this article reads as pretty childish.

OSS can of course spy on you. You just have a reasonable way to audit that software, and find that out for yourself. If you can audit it yourself, why not use it? I won't follow you on your quest to rid yourself of things created by co

I'm unconvinced. You suspect that dedicated administrators who can't code produce more secure environments than ones who can? DevOps are dedicated administrators, it's just that they have a responsibility to show their work i

This letter is high level, and does not go into extensive detail. Why are you so defensive? The story may have been invented, and it may be accurate. You are making it clear that you have an emotional interest in the story, and the people r
