He did actually, but he used the medical term SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) [1] in place of "Asian bird flu". However, they refer to the same thing, and SARS does appear to have only been a major problem from late-2002

Seconded, I just finished this book and it is an introduction to the basic science and history of genetics that reads like a masterfully written narrative. If you have any interest in genetics I think The Gene would be well worth your time.

PRISM was an NSA operation, so it's not clear how that is evidence against his claim that the CIA is more responsible with their cyber offense/surveillance than the NSA. If anything it seems to lend even more credence to his point

So I would say that it's a little of both. Profit wouldn't hurt, but primarily it's about the idea. Even if I never made a dime from it and just broke even, it would be worth it to me. And I say change the world, and I guess

Also, I'm aware that there are huge technical challenges involved in creating the service that I want to create. However, I'm fairly confident in my ability to overcome these if I put the time and effort in and am willing to learn
