You wouldn't be able to simply pass IP packets with usermode networking. It may also be a better use of bandwidth to reassemble and refragment the packets if the MTU of the host is smaller than the MTU advertised to the VM (although I

What is it about Ripcord that violates Slack's ToS? AFAIK Slack are pretty accepting about custom clients, to the point where they even mention wee-slack [1] in their docs [2]. [1]: https://github.com/wee-slack/wee

No, the fields that take up 8 bytes are pointers to PyObject. (I guess this article assumes a 64-bit memory model.)

I'm quite surprised Discord's status page is behind Cloudflare. I thought they were using statuspage.io.

I believe extensions have to explicitly add support for synchronising settings. For example, uBlock Origin supports Firefox Sync: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Cloud-storage

There already exists a profile manager UI if you run `firefox -ProfileManager` or `firefox -P`. Not as elegant as Chrome's though.

The source code for the fix is public. Presumably the bug report includes working exploit code. I don't see how this is "damaging" for forks.

From my understanding, Spotify uses the Chromium Embedded Framework. I'm not sure which parts are rendered with CEF, but since Spotify is using CEF directly rather than Electron, it seems likely they have a fair bit of native code as w

There was a proposal a few years ago to add array comprehensions to the language, but it was ultimately rejected in favour of using .map/.filter instead. Not sure what came about of object comprehensions though.
