Stained glass man here. Back in the day I used to make SG windows for churches - that died away. Glass is colored by dissolving metal salts into the melted glass like a dye in water - a small amount goes a long way. More here https:/

They can deal with this by mandating a desert ecology. I see huge amounts of water in Ca pumped from declining aquifer to maintain huge areas of lawns on houses etc. I wonder if this is a nimby based mechanism to maintain house prices by li

Each one of these panels provides a very valuable thing in a desert - shaded area. All manner of insects, lizards are given some shade. I wonder if an ecological survey has been done on that aspect? I note that farm grass also grows well in

I have often felt the ogallala aquifer could be recharged by diverting some of the great lakes spring runoff into the Atlantic via canals as well as via one of the many gravel buried moraines that connect with and now recharge the ogallala.

Water vapor is co-distilled with water vapor in room temperature evaporation. Humid air a 70F has a partial pressure of about 0.2 PSI - a substantial amount. I would have to look into tabular data on the H2O TCE system to see, but it is sub

Yes, this is good and effective. The oils dissolve and you spin dry, rinse in new liquid CO2 and repeat if needed, just like washing clothes. The CO2 is evaporated and back into the tank - the oil remains and is disposed. https:/&#x2F

The 18 variations are like a deck of 18 cards, the virus 'shuffles' one into use, next year another works better. The multivalent vaccine is for all 18 cards, evolutionary escape is far less likely, if not impossible.

When flu infects a cell, the cell starts to make the virus subcomponents, and it then starts to build complete infectious virions. Usually the cell ruptures and all the complete virions start to look for their attachment part on the cell. W

Once women gained control of their own fertility - they voted with their bodies. Many of the old large families were, in essence, forced on women, to the detriment of many as death was common in childbirth until late in the 19th century.
