I think the point isn't that we can build from source, but why. If its a huge codebase you can't independently audit that source code. So ultimately if you compile it or the organization making it doesn't matter for purposes

Duplex will definitely be used in the opposite direction than demonstrated. Its acceptable to talk to a robot over the phone, and improving that process is very valuable. But having a robot speak to the business? That might be a bit much.
