Yea, in my most desperate I wrote a script that opened ~10 connections and kept restarting them and used HAproxy as a frontend. It was maybe helping, but honestly, I couldn't tell. Luckily I discovered shadowsocks soon after that.

How short are we talking about? Pretty sure most people can remember a sentence? I very rarely make notes tbh. The "don't forget to think of it" part is a bit trickier IMO. You have to have some kind of a trigger. With an odd

As long as you get introduced/meet in the right place, pretty much every non-famous VC will. A lot of people don't even have prototypes. And honestly, they'll only care about seeing the prototype if it's the sort of thin

I love the features! But the language omg. Every time i want to modify my script it feels like such a chore. Would love some js or lisp that compiles to AHK.

As in you actually make a [mental] list of things to try and it's always the last one? If not maybe it's just bias. If you do maybe you're really decent at sorting things to try by effort [and like to try easy ones first].

Is the private-public really such a big difference? It seems to me that if the market crashes the tech industry will get affected the same way whether it's the public or the private market - harder to get funded, harder to get jobs et

I'm sure people will appreciate if you can attach the emails that talked about the cleaning fee, puking, pictures etc? You left out the interesting/important part basically. So did you have alcohol or not?

Why did you pick that title then? You could have just went with something like Senior/Lead Engineer/Architect that implies you're still in a developer-like role. I'm pretty sure everyone would feel odd about being a VP o

I don't have firefox, unfortunately. Anyways, the feature I'm talking about at least (dunno about my parent) is being able to select an item by typing characters - i.e. typing e-n-g should get you English.

Yes. And please - if you feel like reinventing the dropdown be decent enough to re-implement that feature. Example of an offender: https://www.google.com/advanced_search

That situation sounds so weird :O I'm sure everyone would love more details? Libreboot I assume is the least likely to be compromised? I don't know much about it, I just trust Stallman to be the go-to person on such issues. https

Yea, it was pretty bad for me. I did manage to establish an ssh connection over that, but it would get dropped pretty fast. I'd setup L2TP on the host if you want to browse the web, it might just about work. The connection itself is no

Would be cool for the "Equality Index" to be 2 or multi dimensional. I feel like laws on adoption, gender/sex change, age of consent, blood donations, marriage etc. fall on the absolute/objective liberty spectrum. While

Can you elaborate on "get zone files"? Is there a way to get all authoritative zone files for a given TLD or equivalent?

I'm aware of one TLD operator that actually does report all new domain creations. Probably more do that too. Other than that there's plenty of companies that live of scraping WHOIS [and related] data. domaintools.com most notably.
