Tor is not enough to ensure even mediocre privacy. Just proxying everything through Tor would give people a very false sense of security (and break UDP amongst others). There are VMs that do that but still wouldn't recommend that to so

The only unsettling part to me is the cost of litigation. Assuming the legal system is just, I don't have a slightest problem with whoever funding or managing a lawsuit, revenge-seeking or not. And comparing an invasion-of-privacy (or

Since everyone is talking about their crying habits - I have this very annoying tendency to get teary eyed/cry when having intense discussions with some people. Especially if there's any hint of negativity in it. Awkward for obvoi

Ever looked into TMS? http://www.rsi.deas.harvard.edu/mb_what_is.html I don't have RSI but had a brief RSI-scare after some intensive typing and came across it. Seems like it helped a lot of people. Including Etherpad&

It's part of the implicit negotiation to me. You get the other side to soft-commit to a given price range. A perfectly valid strategy. Not to say it can't backfire in a multitude of ways. As a consultant you sometimes want them to

With a properly setup TORbrowser it will use a different tor circuit for every host. Using a [single] VPN "centralizes" your exit connections. For HTTPS enabled sites TOR is perhaps a better choice, just have to be careful of ssls

That overzealous secrecy around TTIP is a shame. It doesn't look like such a bad piece of legislation. The overall theme seems to be some deregulation on EU side (as generally EU is the over-regulated side) and bringing regulatory stan

One could argue a "leak" creates more buzz? A bigger sense of momentum and out-performance? Also they'd face less scrutiny if the there's some creativity in the numbers. "It's just an internal document, you can

I'd say complaining and being open about your own shortcomings is a somewhat Western thing in general. Kind of ties into the concepts of guilt vs shame societies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guilt_society https

Do you actually do that? There's a lot of hoops one would have to get around for a seamless experience with a VM. Most of the time Cygwin just works[0]. I tried running my Emacs and terminal in a separate VM, wasn't so pleasant.

Perhaps I've never been especially bad at colors. But what ultimately improved my [single] color intuition the most is internalizing HSB (Hue/Saturation/Brightness). When I think of a color I think of an HSB coordinate. Maybe

As funny as that comparison sounds - browsers are an amazing environment/system. If we ever abandon the Browser for more opaque systems I'm sure it will be remembered the way we remember Lisp machines today.
