This has got to be even bigger than when cloudflare went offline, in terms of big companies affected. Clearly they have way more F500 customers than CF. Good luck to the on call engineers!

Wow, this is nuts. Reddit was down, shrugged it off since they don't have the best reliability. Jumped onto GH pages, and ended up with a 502, so knew it was time to jump onto HN. I didn't realise it was such a popular CDN these d

Also see Livewire. I'm personally not a fan, but it's a interesting direction and definitely has its advantages. It's also unfortunately rather horrible on slow connections (imagine waiting 500ms for your fancy dropdown to op

I can't wait for them to have global coverage! It's going to be amazing once you can have portable stations (ie, boat, van, etc). Internet anywhere.

Yea, that was my thought exactly. It's nuts, considering they offer Space (S3 alternative) with 1TB out outbound for $5/m (ignoring the fact that they are providing 250gb of storage as well). I was really keen on on until I saw th

Congrats on launching, but what differentiates this for the 10+ other services that do exactly the same thing (with pretty much the exact same features)? https://formkeep.com/ https://getform.io/ https:&#x

I'm a bit confused at these "Issues" > Unfortunately, the Venmo team doesn't seem like they care about their users' security and data privacy, and they are not validating SSL certificates. Looking at the code, th

This is the kind of journalism I love. Long form, wrapped in a gripping narrative! Also, props to GQ for the lack of a paywall!

Even if it's not usable for other, it could be a great resource as an example MEVN stack app for newer developers to learn from. Props to you guys for open sourcing it!

Open sourcing your code in no way means you have to maintain it. Anyone can fork the repo & add their own features/fix issues. If you want them to make changes, they seem to have their development services on offer.

From looking at the producthunt page, it looks like a pretty stock standard reminder app. What features differentiate it from the hundreds of other competitors?

Looks like a cool project, however I can't seem to get into the demo (it seems to indicate using admin/admin but that doesn't work). Would be great to have an english language option on the demo login :)
