I mean, is that really much different than an API? I pass a query, and get data back, and rarely do I get to inspect the mechanisms behind what's returning that data.

It's really expensive or difficult to have a one off object made though, and that's where 3D printing thrived. It fulfills that rapid prototyping itch. People don't even really etch their own pcbs anymore, it's so fast a

I mean, all things considered that feels pretty cheap for a mix of new and diy equipment to do this.

Would these be useful in sequencing the plant/animal life around my home? I think it would be cool for there to be repos of local wildlife around their place. Although, I can't say I even know where to start in all that.

And that means those same drugs, from those same companies are now cheaper outside of the US? That makes zero sense. That's like Amazon charging their employees 100x to use AWS vs outside people. They charge more in the US because they

Hardly, the FAA is handing permits out the instant the mandated waiting time is up. They couldn't go faster without a literal act of congress.

Yeah the sentence "We do not collect/extract this information, but the user volunteers it" is just...200% yikes.

I don't think that fixes it, even in theory, since there's always some uncertainty.

I think the big blind spot people have with these models is that the release pages only show just the AI output. But anyone competently using these AI tools will be using them in step X of a hundred step creative process. And it's

What's the line there though? To "learn" 3d modeling, should I learn to program and write my own modeler/cad system? To learn to program, should I start shoveling sand into a kiln and make my own hardware?

AI has been so conflated with LLMs as of late that I'm not surprised that it feels like we won't get there. But think of it this way, with all of the resources pouring into AI right now (the bulk going towards LLMs though), the pe

Sure, but one side can win more than the other, and one side's goal is to take more than it's worth. That is what profit is afterall, no?

It's a multifacted problem, so you're still going to have the attention problem. NPR is primarily user funded, so if your news is boring (as non-biased, non-slanted tends to be thankfully) you're going to lose out to the more

Not on DO. ~$100 a month droplet gets you about 5TB of transfer out. They pulled 15TB in 7 hours. That's ~1,440,000 (16 3 30) on overage or about $15k extra.

Soil farming (think small family farm) in a field has the advantage of being stupidly cheap. Free sun, free water, free nutrients, as long as you're not going for 150% yields like the big mono-farms do. The tradeoff is lack of consiste

The halting problem is exhaustive, there isn't an algorithm that is valid for all programs. You can still check for some kinds of infinite loops though!
