My hot take is that if you dont do the trick, you basically get a mean of all vectors in the value matrix if all x are very small. Which then probably the next sequence of linear layers will be able to interpret the same way as if you do th

Not sure how they do that, but I’d say that on most iPhones in the wild, having the API return <25 images is probably a pretty good indicator that that’s not all pictures.

Genuine Question: when I was in the US last year (NYC and New Orleans) I was surprised to see almost no electric cars at all (even in NYC it was like 5 Teslas in 1 week).. where are they? All in Californi?

Yeah I enjoy that part also :) But it certainly feels like you also just need some of the gear (eg keyboard), whereas maybe with photography you could use the phone to start?

Hm? the paper is actually fairly detailed for an industry paper. They are able to freeze much of the model and only train temporal layers inbetween.
