The bitcoin price up or down doesn't correlate with "bitcoin taking over the world". It could crash down to 0.5$ and still takeover more of the worlds transactions. What matters is this graph https://blockchain.inf

That's something to be worried about. But I'm more worried about banks having the power to issue unlimited currency which is a default in a cashless society

I really like the concept. The makers might want to reconsider the resource-hog on this one. My 300mbit connection and Mac Pro with 64GB Ram can barely handle navigating this.

I find web developers in general more knowledgeable. Sure they are not working in low level programming, but those that are working in low level programming often don't know what DNS, FTP or SQL is. Remember that those who work in low

What do you mean fail? You mean decrease in value? That would have been perfect, but it would have bankrupted German industry with it's sky high Deutsche Mark and noone to buy their goods in the countries with "no credibility"

Not that im excusing mysql, but what I do when adding columns to a +10mil row tables is to create a new table with the new column and then insert into newtable from oldtable. That changes those few hours into few seconds.
