GoDaddy is the worst company ever. Earlier this year I finally took the step to transfer all of my domains to a different company, and I haven't looked back. Instead of transitioning slowly over time, I just decided to pay the money and t

This is awesome. Really good for people who live in an apartment and aren't there during the day to take deliveries. ...but what surprised me more about this was that it was shared from The Daily.

I agree also, you really need a lot more information up front to tell people what the service actually does. Especially for a service like this, I don't see a lot of value hiding the content behind a registration wall.

I think the subtext is that. before, the Google line on the acquisition is that it was solely for the patents. Possibly to not piss off their other partners who are making the hardware that competes with Motorola. To my knowledge this is

It is really arguing the extremes, when reality, the best place to be is somewhere in between. Designers and developers should of course have good understanding and empathy for what the other person does. But at the same time, they shouldn

I think it's possible that this extreme tab usage could be pretty common. I don't have 500 tabs like him, but I can get into the 50-100 range. For me, too many tabs isn't the problem - it's just that browsers can't seem to handle so many

I think that's what in part makes him Steve Jobs. If anyone else asked you to do it you'd think they were insane. But if Steve Jobs asks you to do it, you not only get on it right away, you also feel like the fate of the entire world rest

I like the idea of supporting your managers in front of employees even if you don't agree. Address it later in private so you don't undermine them.

CNBC had a good special on McDonald's a while ago called "Big Mac: Inside the McDonald's Empire." They talk to a franchisee, and to me it looks like you need to work really hard to be successful. You're basically the CEO of your own busine

I wonder if this is going to become even more of a problem as OS's become more gesture-based like iOS and Lion. All of the three- and four-finger swiping actions in Lion are amazing and useful, but only if you know about them and can remem

I agree, I have never quite understood this meme of mocking hipster stereotypes. It's mean-spirited and in most cases very hypocritical.

In some ways I feel like a lot of Android fans want coverage of tech to be fair in the same way that Fox News wants coverage to be fair and balanced. Just because many sources these days are very positive on Apple and its products, I don't

They use the word "fanbois" to sound pejorative, but isn't this a good thing? It basically means that people are passionate about your company and its products. It means you're relevant. It has always been like that with rivalries like M

I'd be interested to know how Google feels about automatically generating content from other content like this - at first glance it looks like a regular article, but after you read a few it's clear that they have some sort of dynamic templa

I have never been able to get RSS to work for me - I'd always subscribe to a bunch of feeds, then they'd pile up into hundreds of unread posts, and then I'd just go numb to it and end up visiting the site itself like I did before. But now,
