There was a strange situation when SecuROM came onto the scene: The first patch for most games had no SecuROM at all and so it was just patching the usual CD checks.

There are many works on this topic which are of academic nature? Oura (as in Oura Ring) is referring to some of those and is also holding patents on the subject. I wonder how Oura is dealing with this as their ring also has an SpO2 sensor.

I used the isolation „fabric“ wrapped around the extension cable off a super cheap PCIe riser card. I put an iPhone inside which blocked WiFi, BT and 4G.

Get a used HP LaserJet from their professional line. They lack wifi, are way bigger then your normal printer but they work for years without problems and have cheap replacement parts and cartidges. One general advice is to look for recommen

I recommend using something like NextDNS , DNSCloak or Blockada : - Local VPN Apps like Lockdown can block DoT but not DoH - Manual DNS settings don't block DoH or DoT. AFAIK you need an app with specific entitlements? Maybe some

Just search for the professional line of monitors every major brand sells. Those are made for ads, conventions, etc and most of the time lack any smart features but have the same displays as their „smart“ counterparts. Only downside: You pa

There is also this site which hosts „optimized“ builds: https://chromium.woolyss.com/download/ Problem is that some of those compiler flags (avx) break stuff in unforseen ways which is a reason why they are not used in

1200kg for the car divided by 4 points of surface contact („wheels“) equals 300kg. Wikipedia says an Elephant is 5.2-6.9t. So.. well.. seems a bit off.

For 500+ devices i would NEVER use a solution like JAMF and go with something like InTune or better MobileIron (MI). MI just works and is an absolute no brainer. Apple gives every option possible for managing their devices via a third party
