Unreal's modeling tools are fine for blocking out stuff but you still want to do proper modeling in an actual modeling software because of the modifiers & tools that make the process so much simpler and less cumbersome

There is literally only couple of US universities having that, for smaller universities 42k a month for a research or two doesn't make any financial sense at all. This price is just basically a huge gatekeeper to prevent most people us

i've never seen mp4 containing anything else than video so it's reasonable assume they would contain video most of the time and thus have a video player as the default app.

The big problem here is that it trains the artists style and allows third parties to create art in their style without effort. This is especially bad for artists with really distinct style as now hundreds of copycats can come and steal the

3D doesn’t transfer well to stylized 2D. That’s one of the primary reasons why people are still doing it manually. Pixel art also has a much lower barrier to create.

Because for a layperson, an actual 3D map is much easier (and prettier) to read than a topo line map.

Because in japanese the new word makes no sense. If you’re borrowing or creating new words, it would be nice if they would somewhat sensible and not just be the typical “wow japanese is so mystic language”.

Theoretically this could be addressed by looking for the earliest occurence of said code in github and check its license. Sure, there are some edge cases where original copyrighted code has been removed and only unlicensed repo remains but

Honestly, it doesn't matter for the vast population using these devices. I understand the issue, but for a normal runner, most they care about is how did their pace / heart rate compare to their past runs.

None of these solve the same problems and they have the usual problems of free software. Grandious ideas but godawful UX and no interest to fix them.
