The cost isn't negligible. The OS team at Apple is smaller than you'd think and has a tight schedule that cannot ever miss a ship date. Basically anything that uses anyone's attention has to be important. > there's th

You can't hide that. You can't use technical measures to hide from discovery. I think an entire book is a little too large to mask with this method and still end up learning anything.

GPT5 and DeepThink both solved it without doing that for me, yes. (DeepThink did wonder if it was supposed to be him afterwards or if it was a trick.)

Strange complaint. The guy he's chosen to use for comparisons is making a totally different face in the two photos. And his main issue with skin undertones is because he picked a photographic style he doesn't like. The camera app

Apple doesn't randomly fire people. In fact it's quite difficult to get fired for low performance from FAANG because they'd rather just lower your pay until you leave.

It's not difficult to find improvements to LLMs still. Large issues: tokenizers exist, reasoning models are still next-token-prediction instead of having "internal thoughts", RL post-training destroys model calibration Small

If you just want a camera get a mirrorless. They're smaller than DSLRs and easier to adapt lenses to. If you don't care about lenses Fujifilm cameras are probably the most fun to use. (But if you use it rarely it's better to

Not sure what you mean by "one" but a watch will work fine without a network connection. It does need to be paired to a phone. It'd make it less useful as a watch though because the time will drift without an NTP server.

SPTM isn't a hardware feature, it's basically a hypervisor that manages the page tables and tag memory so that the kernel doesn't own its own tags.
