Imagine living in cold climate. Heated seats is very nice to have in certain places where temp below -20C is not uncommon. (Paid monthly subscription is a different issue though.)

YouTrack search bar compared to Jira endless clicking in filters is day and night. But I didn’t use Jira for years. I hope I never will. To the degree, I’ll need 20% more pay for comparable job if they use Jira.

It is more complicated. It is not exactly rule of law in Russia. If you are accused of overthrowing the government, having a page on Facebook, which is extremist organization, might be considered aggravating factor.

Are you sure employers in US are forbidden from asking medical records? Wikipedia says about discrimination, not about medical records. Also, it is legal to fire people based on their vaccination status which is obviously a medical record.

True. But revenue would be significantly smaller (other engines cannot afford pay high per click, and lack of competition drives the price per click down), and revenue is already barely enough to cover Mozilla needs (see recent staff cuts).

There’s no goal to reduce emissions from planes. There’s a goal to reduce overall emissions. If (hypothetically) co2 tax would lead to reduction in other industries but keep emissions unchanged in planes, this is fine.
