Hey thanks, glad you like these projects! Yeah you're right I was only looking at uncompressed size, add in some gzip and actual size through the network is even smaller. Also glad you like humble, it's one of those side projects

good points, yes I definitely should have implemented some caching logic, the 500s are due to rate limiting on the HN side I think. Wasn't expecting this much traffic! good lessons for next time and something to consider for future pro

Was going to mention Cue. Works great in cases where you want to add a touch of structure to your existing yaml configuration, such as types and bounds checking.
