Although this seems cool, there are at least two downsides: 1. You have to copy/type the password manually, instead of relying on your password manager to recognize the website, leaving you more vulnerable to phishing. 2. More manual e

Heyyyy I'm with you here. Broke my ankle a few years ago, badly. I had surgery but recovery is... well, probably never happening, at this point. It's invisible, but walking hurts. The more I walk, the more it hurts. Damn, I used t

Yes you do need Windows. Wine is great, but there's no way I'll publicly release a windows application that hasn't been tested on an actual windows install.

Actually they do clarify that they are not comparing similarly priced systems. But yes, that could have been made more obvious. Also they compare the apple silicon performances to older systems as well, to have a better comparison point. Bu

Hey, happy birthday GIMP! I've been a user since, oh, 2005 I believe. I've always found the interface easy to use, and I'm really surprised to see so many people complaining about it here. GIMP has always been my go-to tool f

This is a super interesting article! However some parts of it are... well they are true for me as well, even though I'm pretty sure I'm not colorblind. This, in particular: > Another consequence of all this is that I see very l

We thought about restraining the horses to a smaller parcel, but ultimately we decided against that, so they have more free space to run away. They won't be more than 100m away from us at anytime though

We thought about tripwires, yes. But what are they exactly? Thin electric cables that break? Since we already have fencing, that could be a good solution

That's worth investigating. Horses do sometimes run around, because they're scared of just for fun, but that would be a good study anyway :)
