There are many more options than the above listed. You should add an option for "Other".

I wish this were the case. Most conferences I've been to either don't have a DisplayPort, or DVI, or if they do, they don't have the proper wiring set up, but only VGA. I have to bring a DisplayPort to VGA adapter wherever I go.

Sure, a single windows license isn't cost prohibitive. You can easily find them in the < $100 range on Newegg, SoftwareMedia, etc, not to mention the numerous promotions they run which can bring a license down to the $50 - $70 range. So

There's no need to pirate windows for QA. Microsoft offers free virtual machines loaded with different versions of IE specifically for QA purposes, see http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=... .

As mentioned previously, I unfortunately don't have the time to elaborate now, look for that blog post I mentioned within the next week or so to answer your question.

No, I unfortunately can't elaborate properly now. Once things calm down this week I'll be able to put together a reasoned blog post. Hopefully you'll vote it up when you see it. But to be unfairly brief, anything that requires a download to

This is so distressing, it really is the return of desktop apps. So much for all the progress we've made, it feels like we're going backwards 10 years. I've been meaning to write a blog post on this for over a year now, maybe this will moti

As much as we try not to, we're only human. As such, it's very hard to justify, well, don't be upset, that's from a few years ago. She'll understand, but it still causes unnecessary angst, frustration. There's no reason to not have a remove

The difference is as follows. The pictures that show aren't necessarily relevant to my life at this point in time. For example, I'm not very active on the picture front and many of the pictures that show are from several years ago. My girlf

I really hate the photo scroller. I would love to hide the whole object, not just individual photos. Every time you hide a photo it just fetches a new one. Really annoying. Update: I had to press hide on several hundred photos for this to g

Sure, but it wasn't a native client app. What good is an app if it doesn't take up storage space? The once newfangled Internet with it's lightweight footprint, and on-demand access to content only when you need it is clearly outdated. I'm a

Fair enough, but the phrasing suggests your browser isn't modern enough, rather than Grooveshark hasn't been tested to support it, which can be somewhat frustrating to a user of the browser, which may in fact be modern and up to date.

As mentioned in the other comment, there's no reason to not support Opera. They've spent a significant amount of effort over the past few years to get the browser up to snuff and in most cases will work out of the box if you let it. The pro

Opera does conform to standards, it has for some time, sometimes better than the other browsers. For example, there's no need to prefix CSS3 attributes with -moz. What is unfortunately happening is rather than testing to see if the site wil

Apparently the latest version of Opera isn't modern enough. I'm really sick of projects blatantly not supporting Opera. There's nothing wrong with it. Update: Come on there's no reason to downvote this. At least explain why you're downvotin

I remember reading that the building sits on top of one of the main fiber optic junctions, clearly making it a bit more valuable. I was able to find an article that references this http://newsfeed.time.com/2010/10/27/google-to-play-daniel-

I'm too tired to properly respond to this. It's clear that you don't know what NOLOH is, or the advantages it provides. By it's nature, it's not equivalent to GWT, and provides significant advantages over doing web development in most other
