Maybe, but it's shortsighted. Yes, currently the Google Employee is able to provide enough value to Google that they pay him a nice salary that allows him to live in relative comfort. Though, perhaps in 10 years, his job will be automa

I can't tell you how happy I am they changed this. No more icon-* conflicts. I've had issues with duplicates with bootstrap's built-in when I only want certain icons to be glyphs, or if I want to create my own. I actually had

These apps are nice, but the best PostgreSQL editor and GUI I've seen is EMS PostgreSQL Manager, http://www.sqlmanager.net/en/products/postgresql/manager . It even has a pretty nice query builder. Though

I'm going to say it, better documentation. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I find it takes me significantly less time do find out how to do something in PHP, or a PHP library than in the corresponding Python. Though, th

I code in Python, BASH, C, and PHP on a regular basis and still strongly prefer PHP for everyday coding and hobby tasks. I even prefer to create command-line scripts in PHP (though will switch to Python if it's large to begin with). Fo

Bought this last night, I must say it's really fun. Though, I was forced to switch to an actual mouse to play. A touchpad isn't quick enough to move all those documents around. I also wish there was a hotkey (perhaps it'll be

You should use standard JS comments and process them out. Douglas Crockford's offical answer on comments, https://plus.google.com/118095276221607585885/posts/RK8qyGVa... . Essentially just process them out bef

This looks pretty good. Though many of the features are already baked into PostgreSQL's full-text search, out of the box this seems to add enough value to get me interested. I'll definitely be checking this out further.

I thought Opera Next is just a beta for testing the renderer. I don't think they consider it the new version of Opera yet, as it doesn't come up as a new version. I'm sure they wouldn't be so stupid to remove all the nic

Why do you think Opera has gone the way of the dodo? It's an excellent browser, by far the best browser in my opinion. Furthermore, they're changing their renderer to webkit which will ensure no more Opera incompatibility. If anyt

Right, even if someone miscalibrated we can quickly get to the proper calibration. Though, I stress ten as being the creator of said technology. For example, in the case of PHP ten would entail actually being able extend PHP via C/C++.

Don't know why you felt it was necessary to take a dig at PHP, as if PHP is the cause of all bad web programming practices. Nowadays, PHP is very much evolved, and the abundance of mature frameworks have completely removed the most of the i
