Oh yeah, and there already is (preact, for example). I'm not worried about losing front-end SPA libraries. If anything, I'm just annoyed at the endless greed of VC funded firms.

That's one way to sell a open source project I guess. Not only did Vercel really fight to not have any mention on the React docs about using React _without_ Vercel, but downright to using wording to imply that if you do then you'r

Yup, I've also gone with a console for all my gaming needs, and keep my computer as just a productivity machine. As a result I don't need nearly as beefy machine and don't need to grind my teeth in bitterness using Windows.

Depends where you are, I guess. In a prison-first rehabilitation-last country like USA, yes. In EU, many countries will close your criminal record after some years (7 in Estonia) at which point nobody other than law enforcement itself can s

But how would that work? Say I have software written that runs just fine, but has not been updated to the latest runtime of Python or Node (as per your example). Perhaps a dependency I use has a broken recent version, but the old version I

Well here in Estonia we already are getting bunker test drills and flyers in our mailboxes on what to do in case of a bombing / nuclear attack. Sad thing is that since we don't really have any underground places, and Estonia is as
