A simulator is indeed more practical. A live application will allow exposure in a way the simulator cannot. Its about theory and practice (and marketing, in this case). I did simulations before doing anything in practice. Benefits were many

Disclaimer: My day job is in edtech. Minecraft has shown to be a good tool to teach students about different topics. During this years ISTE convention, I talked with a lot of teachers who used Minecraft as a teaching aide. To the point of u

Every technology is relatively wrong. Time points out where and we fix it (process is repeated again forever).

Good points. Code ends up being a reflection of internal structure. Management is tasked with defining that structure. If it gets to the point where a developer has to fight for good structure then management has failed and there isn't

The UI is really nice and clean. Its light to use and feels perfect. Id like pagination instead of endless scrolling. Makes it easier to switch context. Good job! :)

All I can think about is the reliability of the hardware and how a failure could set back the market years (if not more due to regulation). I really hope this was properly engineered by seasoned automotive engineers. fixed typo

The structure is good. You can read what's happening clearly. It also shows what's a laravel idiom and what is modern php. I giggled a bit when reading the user factory code. It feels so enterprise. Not a bad thing in itself. I wa

I run some flask microservices and the key has been to use gunicorn and nginx. It scales up very well. Its not as quick as some other Go microservices I have but Python has an advantage in terms of libraries for my use case. Flask is simple

Brilliant approach towards displaying configuration. I feel in love with the presentation. It just makes sense. Definitely "borrowing" the idea. :)

I would consider Java more due to pricing, community, and long term stability. I'm not criticizing .NET on those areas. My experience has showed that. By the way, feel free to email me. I don't mind bouncing off ideas with you. :)

Their "lets get started" section is hilarious. Phrases like: Does it look like ibm? Does it feel like ibm? They try and make ibm sound like some avant garde stuff. Really funny.
