I don't know if they exist. I sure have not met one yet. However, you have an option that might be worthwhile to you. Good technical content will usually draw programmers. They will sign up to your newsletter if you consistently publis

People kept quiet? I'm not a Mayer apologist (or even a "fan"), but she has been criticized for everything. From her looks (people said she is a dumb blonde who is going to wreck everything) to her decisions (everyone knew tu

Yes, which makes the title more ridiculous. The same thing will happen to a roomba if you leave it running on an open space. I can see the headline now: "Evil vacuum cleaner robot creates havoc on city streets."

Probably. Or it could simply have had malfunctioned (bugs in robots are worse) and strayed off. You can see in the video that the sidewalks are very low and there was a ramp near where the robot was. Its not hard to imagine that people stop

Its OK for it to not be completely thought out. It is a startup. They probably don't know how to make money from it. But I'm curious as to what checks they have to avoid gaming. Its pretty straightforward to build various bot to c

Stupid question: What safeguards does this have in place to stop me from building a set of bots that game it?

I know a lot of freelancers, including myself, that are always hard pressed for work when there seems to be an abundance. Tell me about your marketing.

Exactly. They just went with it because its "normal". Either way, didn't Paul Graham sell a company to yahoo and then started YC?

I always compare this with a mailbox and people get it. When you deposit a letter it just doesn't arrive magically to its destination. People, cars, trucks, trains, boats, and planes are part of the process tve gets your letter delive

I've been doing small projects to get settled with channels and it works very nicely. The big difference with node and django is that Node is backed by bigger entities than Django/Python. I love Django, and use it for many things,

Yes, exactly. This platform is very affordable and would make a great introduction to a sumo-type robot competition using bipeds. But not shoving robots around a la RoboOne, but hitting a target drawn on a touchscreen. Its something Ive bee

How much weight does the frame support? Does the weight need to be centrally located? I'm thinking this would be very nice with one of those small touchscreen displays attached to it.

I've been using Django for some years now and have taken an interest in Node.js. In spite of Django (IMO) being simpler to get up and running. Node.js is now everywhere and is making progress in the enterprise stack. What I'd like

Depends on what you want to build. A popular hobby stack is built around the Arduino. It will allow you to plug in a fair amount of parts. Figure out what you want to build first. Then send me an email and I'll try and guide you in tve

The supercharger is a better investment because the problem with the factory windsor block is that it cracks in the (middle) lifter valley. There are aftermarket blocks that can be used and can reliably support 1200hp. The supercharger will
