Kudos to you. The only piece of software I wrote was open source and could never find a way to monetize it beyond consulting and VC funding. A sustainable long term business selling a piece of software that just works is all we could ever h

Hey all Reminder is a project I'm working in relation to the Quran and other religious texts. I'm interested in finding other developers who want to contribute or get involved even with a bit of feedback. I don't know about t

What does it mean to be religious to you? Like what does it actually mean on a day to day basis? Is that different to what life would be like without say some form of God consciousness?

Congratulations to the team at Render. I'm not a user but good to see some competition in the cloud space. DigitalOcean was the last great developer focused effort IMO. Things at a higher level helped various communities but nothing ha

Looks interesting! Wish you the best of luck with it. I think we're in need of a fresh take on dev platforms. Profiles are a good place to start.

I think the cynic in me says "so what" mostly because dkim as an ancient technology is hardly secure. I don't think we're any less prone to email fakery and spam. I'd be interested to see a possible new solution or

I understand your concerns and I too have my concerns which is why the goal is not to try to replace the usage of the Quran, scholars or our own need to seek knowledge. We can't shy away from the use of new technology but we should als

Note: I addressed the issue with web page loading for the Quran and Hadith. Opted for the main page to be an index with contents. Hopefully that fixes things.

Thanks, yea I thought about separating the search but felt like when you're looking for that piece of knowledge it can extend to the hadith and it was important to include it. So much of the Quran is explained in the context of the had

Thanks for the feedback. The hadith is bukhari. I'll try to clear this up somewhere and do the same you mention about mobile rendering for the web pages. The project is open source and you can see the data loaded from json in each fold

I had similar thoughts about using it for the Quran. I think this highlights you have to be very specific in your use cases especially when expecting an exact response on static text that shouldn't change. This is why I'm trying s

I was thinking about this today but maybe not for the reasons the author specified. I feel like I bought into the gamified era of social as I lived it through my 20s and 30s. Part of that meant I became a star chaser. I have a couple projec
