Not entirely true, standardized testing kind of breaks down for really low income populations. It's a good proxy for a population living in a functional environment and attending school regularly, but a poor one in highly dysfunctional

Low IQ people can only be educated to the extent of their abilities. If anything, they need specialized education which is more rote-learning based and slower than that of the general population. Maybe you think that education increases int

No: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heritability . Perhaps you meant that at any given time, the heritability of a trait depends on the "state" of the population, and that heritability values can change over tim

Huh, what? Are you talking about the appearance of new genetic mutations? I think evolutionary timescales are a bit longer than a few generations. Anyway, I don't understand how this is supposed to explain what heritability is...

Points 1 2 and 4 are pretty well studied in academia concerning intelligence. Intelligence is defined as "g", and it's 60 to 80% heritable depending on the study (leaning towards 80%). More info for the curious: https:/

Seems like you learned the hard way that social skills are an important part of thriving in a social hierarchy. I recommend you read books on how to deal with people.

I'm really curious if there's a deeper reason for why companies are suddenly thrown under the bus by the mainstream media, or if it's just journalists mimicking each other because they lack imagination. First Elon, now Zuck.

That book is about the application of eugenic policies to spread the nordic race, which the author alleges is superior to other races. I agree that it is pseudoscientific in regard to its theories of racial superiority, but it does not refu

How is telling starving people not to have 8 kids per woman and providing them with free condoms "genocide" exactly?

Oh don't get me wrong, I personally oppose eugenics from a moral standpoint. I was just quibbling with the assertion that eugenics does not work because of a "misunderstanding on how DNA works". If that's the case I'

How is eugenics wrong (in the scientific sense, not the moral sense)? It seems to work pretty well with plants and some animals (dogs, horses, etc.)

I think I'd rather kill myself than ever go live in a nursing home. I suppose the only way I'd accept is if I had late stage dementia and didn't realize where I was.
