Is there a way to contribute? I have some old National Geographics I bought for 10 cents each a number of years ago. The old ads are one of my favorite things in every magazine.

I hope this is true for ECG sampling as well! It does beg the question as to what is the bottleneck today then, if it's not power.

I disagree with this definition of "addictive"...not all behaviors that are self-reinforcing are simply 'addictive'. Is drinking water addictive by your definition?

I believe it's called prime factorization. Each number is placed in a group of numbers (or group of groups, etc...) E.g. 24 -> 2 * 3 * 4 = Two groups of (three groups of (four items)) Also try this for the archived version of that e

For things online, I just bookmark web pages in a folder called "Other". For written materials/books, I write notes in the margins or write free-hand notes on a piece of paper and insert it in the book somewhere. Then when I&

Are the classes still offered? I was looking to take it a few years ago, but couldn't figure out how to sign up. It seems like only video lectures are available now. Still seems worth it, just wondering

I did, it just seems to highlight the items in the view? I was hoping to see all of the dialog boxes at once, somewhere. I'm using a laptop FYI so have plenty of screen real estate for that

I don't find this site to be particularly information-dense. There is a lot of scrolling needed just to extract a few sentences of info about what this site even is. Although the graphics and design are cool.

How did Tailwind contribute to the low-density trend? I use it a lot and don't really find myself forced to create "low-density" sites based on any decision by the library-makers.

Wow btop looks fantastic out-of-the-box. I spent a long time configuring htop and still don't really like how it displays info (although it is an improvement over plain-old top)

This makes sense. One suggestion would be to add a "Click to hold" button, which will push the dialog pop-up into a corner, maybe in a condensed view, and allow you to select more items. Then you can do a selective comparison of m

I use Mermaid a lot, and my biggest gripe is the lack of normalized syntax. Everytime I want to create a new type of diagram, it's like learning a new language. I'm a big diagram-as-code proponent ( https://ashwinsundar.

Snow Crash seems like a good stretch goal. The prose is pretty insane but the book is a fun read. I find myself thinking about that book randomly when reading various tech news articles.

Would love to hear an honest discussion of why Django and/or Python is a bad solution for any given problem. Is it because they are old technologies? Do they lack support for something in particular? Are they too expressive/not ex

I want to switch from Postgres to SQLite for a side project. Managed Postgres is an unnecessary expense, and introduces complexity which I don't want to deal with or troubleshoot. SQLite is simple and appropriate for my current needs.
