My vim and personal configs are versioned and part of the code repo! On any particular machine, I just use a repo cloned from the dropbox repo.

I did a similar thing. I put my personal git repo inside dropbox. It's like github for free private 2GB repositories.

That (= treating as object code) does not preclude producing validating HTML. In fact, on the contrary, that is the only way (IMHO) one can produce validating HTML - if your HTML all goes through a common piece of code for rendering tags. S

PageRank is only one of the signals Google computes while ranking pages. From what I have heard, they have more than a few hundred different signals they compute - and are constantly iterating on to keep the search quality up.

So, apparently (according to the article), the bond raters are paid by the bond issuers. How in the world is that not a conflict of interest? There must be some "pro" for the financial world being this way?

It is obviously a large part, but he did not get that publicity automatically. It seems he worked out and implemented a very effective strategy for getting that publicity organically. So, plenty of hard work and ingenuity involved there as

Relax! People are just regurgitating the same stuff over and over again. And it is easy to get worked up by reading (intentional and unintentional) inflammatory remarks. If you like the product and think it makes sense for you, buy it.
