http://hackerlunch.com I'm working on Hacker Lunch, which lets you meet up and have lunch with another hacker in your area. Launched a super rough MVP only for hackers in San Francisco, you can try it at http://h

Ah, ok. It never got off the 'new' page, so I assumed the timing wasn't right - so I resubmitted hoping to get the right time for HNers in SF.

I wanted to start with SF to gauge interest and get some critical mass for it to be useful. I'll definitely remove the geographic restriction once I get some solid feedback.

I am interested in participating in this hackathon too. I'm primarily a designer and was looking for a developer to team up with. I'll email you.

There is a manual approval process, but its to weed out spam and make sure you are being paired up with a real human. I intend to build this up to make the matching more intelligent so that you get matched with people you'd find intere

I'd love to help YC rejects who wish to continue working on their startups with a free redesign. My portfolio's at madebyargon.com Depending on how many people decide to take me up on this offer, I may not be able to accept everyo

Free because I think the project has potential but the developer seems to not be interested in investing money on a redesign. If a free design can renew interest in the project, I think its a worthwhile cause. On a related note, I also do f

Most startups don't have the resources to deal with the legal hassle of hiring an international candidate. However, if you have exceptional talent, you might be worth the extra hassle. Try your luck applying to larger and more establis

So was Mark Zuckerberg. If you don't come from a well-to-do family its hard to turn down a million dollars for a side project. Look at the founders of Google, who came from middle class families, and would have been more than happy to

The only option you have is to surrender the domain. If you ask them to compensate you for the cost of buying the domain (which should be something less than $100 I'm assuming), they'll probably do so.

Actually in the next update, I'll add direct results from youtube for searches that doesn't return anything from Spotify. I just have to figure out how to get the song metadata in a meaningful way for those.

Yes. Youfm was actually (partly) inspired by Tubalr back when it was first launched (almost 3 years ago I think).

Yea, there are some quirks with the UI particularly the BackboneJS bits. I'll be fixing them soon. I'm holding off on the monetization stuff (buy songs) until I can work out all the bugs.
