I think what you will not see is your friend's tweet @stranger in your timeline , which you didn't by default anyway. All is still visible on the profile page, hence stranger's tweets are not affected.

Flash has the same problem as IE -- nobody upgrades it I know someone else replied to this, but just had to add my 2 cents here. This is in fact flash's biggest advantage: how quickly they are able to push new versions out to 98% instal

I'm think you are oversimplifying the problem. Web search is about the long tail you need breadth in your index. It will cost quite a bit more than a couple of bucks to do (storage is not that cheap, nor is cpu), and you'd have to do it r

its not a technical challenge to build an index of the entire web? certainly not easy, and not any easier than it was before as the web is much larger there is also freshness/timeliness which is the most difficult aspect and is becoming mor
