Yes. I am now in lockdown mode. No Twitter, Facebook, Quora till Monday. Checking HN only once in 2 hrs. Google Reader only once a day. Let's see how this experiment goes. :)

yea. I used to follow like 300+ users. One day I went to my twitter account and unfollowed everyone but those who tweeted only tech stuffs and only few tweets a day. That really helped. Thanks :)

No. I mean to say, jQuery is good at DOM manipulation but a large Javascript Application involves alot than just DOM manipulation. So is it better to write naked javascript or use any other framework? I read some where people using YUI, Doj

If you want to be a technical entrepreneur or even want to be in technology field, I would suggest CS. But again, your interest matters alot. Dont go with trend but go with your interest. You can make money in every field (sometimes quickly

May be they want to keep things simple. You anyways don't know other users unlike facebook where most of the people liking and commenting on your status are your fiends. More features they have, more complex it is for users and developers h

Couple of suggestions. 1. It would make more sense to have Textbox at the bottom instead of top. When you enter something, you see your message right above your textbox. 2. Instead of having separate area for dropping files, why not allow u

Yea, I agree. I need to add some more space between user's image and number if votes. Regarding Branding, they have it on the header. I was just playing with it on Firebug and took screenshot so that part got clipped.

I have seen many of my friends and colleagues use Quora alot. And I like their concept. But some how I don't feel like visiting because of their UI. I wish it was little easier to read / skim. May be it's just me. I was playing around with

My concern is related to that. We write our own Map Reduce functions and loop thru all the records (say in millions) in the Database to select the ones we need. Isn't this (looping thru all the records) costly in terms of time? I mean in RD
