That's one thing I did realize over the last year. It is not a huge work but still some work, especially, as you wait for themes to upgrade themselves with the newer version of Hugo.

I love go-releaser. I believe it is a great choice for Go-based projects. I use it for multiple side-projects of mine (that are written in Go).

Any advantage for using Bazel for newer languages that have a standardized dependency setup like Go or Rust? Or even for JS/TS, where almost everyone uses npm/pnpm/yarn?

I like layering Makefile on top of language-specific build tools like Go, Poetry, cargo, gradle and yarn. Has anyone seen an advantage of using bazel? The learning curve is an issue as well. Blaze (inside Google) was pretty good but not onl

If not makefile then what do you use for a project that has Python for backend and JavaScript for frontend? Does everyone learns all the tools or do you just provide a 'make lint' that works in all codebases?

That's exactly when I created MusicSync (obsidian for music) I relied on keeping absolute minimal state in the app. All the file organization and maintenance happens in the user's Google Drive and the phone's SD card. https:

The comparison to Dropbox is incorrect. But rather than trying to explain that, I will wait a few years and let the market decide whether my concerns are legitimate.

I used curl before that. But I can see how curl will be intimidating for non-engineers. Now, I recommend Bruno to even non-engineers.
