I don't think pandering to the ideas that basically amount to "a 6 week bootcamp makes you a Software Engineer" is honest or useful. It is sycophancy and disingenuous. If someone doesn't even know where to start looking

A git hash is cryptographically secure. It doesn't matter how you distribute it. That is the entire point you're missing.

I have. Can you help me understand what is the issue with my comment? Can we not agree that not being able to know where to even start with studying and changing a binary is foundational to being a software engineer?

It is an easy to overlook this, but even for someone in position of power to change, creating different code with the same hash is borderline impossible.

Even Example 1 works in a much narrower scope, in that you need to have a decent working setup and all the rails like a good AGENTS file and so on. The point is that "Vibing" still does not produce worthy output.

This is absurd. No one has an obligation to help anyone nor do they owe you any standard of help. Opinion on quality of output is constructive to the wise and an opportunity to scream "If you can do better than do it" for the smal

It is possible that your impression of mean is actually well bellow mean. SOTA models are still as good as the programmer using them, at best.

It is not even just slow, things like Share doesn't work at all. It is beyond disingenuous, it is flat-out a lie.

You can't vibe things better. You vibe them shinny, but often make them worst.

For Linux, there is https://github.com/pwr-Solaar/Solaar But on another note, the genai content on the website is just so distracting and such a bummer. It sticks out like sore thumb.

Currency is a barriers bond that affords a degree of decentralisation-in-operation and use that isn't afforded by digital payments, even crypto for practical purposes.

This is an interesting case of "Good use" of a "bad feature". This feature is bad because it works against the user and device owner, but this use case like hiding your password when sharing your screen is a good use cas

I won't be surprised. In Australia, no public transport system accepts the national payment system (EFTPOS) and instead it is either a public transport specific card or one of the 3 American rails. In NSW, there was promise of a second

What other kind of infantilizing laws do you purpose? Perhaps they should also make it illegal for people to interact with you if you find unpleasant? Ban small talk at checkouts?

Suites are still in trend, but Suites are not "in". That is the point here. AI is being marketed beyond what it is honestly capable.

Yeah, this is nonsense. No one is arguing that AI is useless, but that there is a coordinated marketing campaign hyping it up.
