Pretty much what Nixon wanted to achieve by starting relations with them, but it got derailed when new administrations came in and didn’t follow through.

Even better: I sent back an unopened Librem5 because they said I’d get a refund. 10 months later and no refund after monthly emails, including cc’ing the executive team and their legal counsel. I’ll be filing FTC and state AG complaints whe

Its the same reasons why I like cooking so much: It has a definitive amount of time to accomplish and on top of the satisfaction of making something, I get to actually eat it.

Similar to what Anthony De Mello espouses about dropping your labels for everything, including yourself: https://youtu.be/TxXQwMOxglk

Love Shiey and he also goes on quite a few trips with this guy ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8iPVSFr42KUFf8DKsmnvSw ) who is very well educated and more philosophical and artistic than Shiey. Like them both a lot,

This is similar to what you can do in the readwise app. It's been excellent!

No, this is democracy in action :).

Exact same experience for me. They’ve done a great job of combining all the disparate parts of the digital reading experience and it’s only been getting better over the months since the devs are extremely responsive to feedback and they imp

The smart route is to do all of that, but still modify them to remove the possibilty of a rogue person or unit from doing it as well. Its called covering all bases. When the stakes are this high (nukes), you ensure there are no loose ends.

Yes, I’d carry pen and paper or keep it in a notebook that is usually with me. The reason I mentioned pocketmod is because it could be folded down to a tiny booklet, which can easily slip into a pocket or wallet.

As I’ve recently been testing a bunch of habit trackers for iOS, settling on Routinery for the past few weeks, there’s a few things that seem to be missing: 1. Privacy, subscription-less, tracking-less. Which you’ve covered. 2. A decent wid

For me it’s been the opposite. I’m not a programmer or have a job that requires me to use anything but basic GUI’s or web services, so the hill to use anything without a GUI is quite high. I think what you do day-to-day for your vocation or

Easy to make it look bad without taking local taxes into account, which make up a large portion of overall tax revenue. This is a shit piece.

Hard to tell since the site doesn't offer much info and pushes users to download right away, but are the calendar and docs self contained in the app or do they interface with outside services and pull data in?

Super ignorant take. SA's ruling class heavily depends on the US for literal protection. Unless they think they can go it alone, they're all dead within the year otherwise.

Nixon describes how he felt it best to deal with the Russians during and after his time in office that still likely holds true (maybe moreso) to this day.
