JavaScript precompiler techniques (like https://svelte.technology/ ) should find their way down to everyday use cases, like abstracting away Canvas DOM programming and GPL and other programming difficulties.

Indeed. For example, the trees are alive in the wind. I'm perfectly comfortable with the idea that the Earth hears and responds to sound vibrations. Definitionally, this seems a very appropriate way to describe life.

This is totally awesome. I've been waiting for serious musical tools to find their way online, and this seems like a great start.

Ditto. While I really appreciate this ongoing survey, it seems like with a little more effort, a lot more could be gleaned.

Jeff Hawkins dismisses the metaphysical in his theories. Is this true of the neuroscience world in general?

It seems there's a common warfront in general around what can or can't be said, and it has coalesced in the every-one tool, the Internet. Greater ease to publish, greater impulse to control one another. The test of our day seems t

Two questions: 1. What do people use (currently) for data standardization? 2. What do you do if it's not in tabular format, but is something like JSON/noSQL?
